It is necessary if you work in industries which deal in corrosive material, hazardous material, places where you can injure yourself or cause bodily harm or even contract diseases and health conditions, it is necessary to wear protective clothing especially suited for your line of work.

These resist chemicals and they should be used by people who have latex allergies or even if they are working in close proximity with clients who could potentially be allergic to latex such as nurses or tattoo artists.
Painter’s Hood : This prevents paint, debris, chemicals, liquids, gum, resin and other such substances from falling on a person’s head and into their hair. It protects the scalp as well
Safety glasses : these are used to protect debris and particles from entering the eyes. It also is used to protect the eyes against bright light like those which welders are exposed to during welding.
